Stacey Solomon reveals how ‘magical’ life has been since her grandmother, 94, moved closer to her Essex home: ‘I’m just so grateful she’s here now’
Stacey Solomon revealed how “magical” her life has been since her 94-year-old grandmother moved closer to her home in Essex on Monday.
In the adorable snaps she shared on Instagram, Stacey, 34, described how grateful she was to be able to make “more precious memories” since her grandmother moved into a nearby home.
The Loose Women star posted a sweet snap of herself cuddling her grandmother at Pickle Cottage, where she lives, and a picture of daughter Rose, two, on her lap.
She wrote: ‘I have a pickle shack grandma. I can’t even describe how happy and grateful we are that we finally managed to convince Grandma to move closer to us.
“We got her settled this week and it was magical.” Thank you grandma for building self-confidence, we know how hard it was to leave the place where you have been all your life.

Stacey also posted a black and white picture of the children’s great-grandmother, with the caption: ‘The kids have always been obsessed with their great-grandmother and now they can grow up with her properly.’
In the series of photos, Stacey was also seen holding her ‘grandma”s hand as they spent some quality time chatting on the sofa.
Adding: “I’m so grateful that he’s here now. She was always the best grandma we could ever ask for and to be able to make the most precious memories is all we ever wanted.
“She has settled in so well and is so happy.” And she has already made many friends. I can’t tell you how excited I am to have grandma cuddles every day from now on.’
Last week Stacey revealed her grandmother had ‘finally’ agreed to move into a care home near her and sister Gemma.
Stacey explained that she was emotional about the move because she is happy to still have her in her life.
The post comes just days after the doting mum shared her 34th birthday with her eldest daughter Rose, who turned two.

This is the first time we’ve had news of grandma Stacey Solomon since December 2021 when baby Rose first met her.
The update comes after Stacey shared the exciting news that she has become a part owner of independent hair care brand REHAB in her first investment.
The TV presenter took to Instagram last month to share the news with her followers as she described the business move as a ‘big moment’ in her life.
It’s the first time she’s put her own money into a business in her career, and Stacey said it’s always been her dream.
The mother of five has been using REHAB products for a long time because she often delights her followers with hair oils, and now she is also a co-owner of the brand.
After meeting co-owners Vicki and Anastasia, Stacey revealed she “fell in love” with the band and wanted to “champion amazing women in the business”.
