Stacey Solomon joked that her slicked-back high bun makes her look like Matilda’s musical nemesis, Mrs. Trunchbull on Sunday.
Taking to Instagram, the 33-year-old TV star revealed that she had styled her hair into the style, which she called ‘newborn’, after taking inspiration from former Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague.
But it wasn’t exactly what she expected, and she joked that it looked more like she was going to put her two-week-old newborn baby Belle in the strangler as Mrs. Trunchbull, a reference to the popular Roald Dahl adaptation.
She asked Molly-Mae for advice on hairstyles and urged her to do a tutorial on the look.
The star, who also shares Rose, 16 months, and Rex, two, with husband Joe Swash, 41, told followers: “I just need to know the answer to this because it’s bugging me.”

oops! The TV star, 33, revealed that she had put her hair up in the style, which she called ‘fresh newborn’, after being inspired by Molly-Mae, but it wasn’t what she expected.
Stacey, who also has Zach, 14, and Leighton, 9, from previous relationships, added: “I thought about putting my hair up in a bun today because I keep seeing people do it.”
‘I’ve seen Molly-Mae do it and she looks so beautiful. I call it cool newborn, like you have a newborn, so you just throw your hair back and do it in a bun and you look so pretty and natural and it pulls your whole face back.
‘Why do I look like Miss Trunchbull when I do it, why? Why don’t I look newborn like Molly?
‘Looks like I’m going to push my newborn into the choke. Why doesn’t it suit me? Is it my face? I just need to know.’
Her followers were quick to offer advice, and she shared some of her advice on another slide.
She came to the conclusion that the style didn’t work because she actually needs to wash her hair, as one follower suggested.
It comes after Stacey hit back at a troll on Saturday who berated her for having long fingernails, after becoming a mom for the fifth time.
The TV star had decided to indulge herself by getting her nails done.

Stacey took to her Instagram Stories to reveal that a troll had messaged her on the social media site to tell her: ‘Very impractical nails for a newborn’, criticizing her choice to have long nails while babysitting Belle.
But the star hit back at the mom-shaming by saying, ‘Have a day off, Wilma. It’ll be fine, I promise.
The star added: Well, I think they are really practical. They are great for tickling and head banging. Belle loves them.’
He then quipped: ‘This one is really good at picking bogies. Will I end up with poop under them every day?
‘Probably, but I have a nail brush and I wash my hands. ‘It will be OK.’
It comes after Stacey shared a sweet snap of her three youngest children enjoying a family day out with them on Friday.

She shared that it was just her, baby Belle, Rose and Rex, whom she shares with Joe, at home and that she was enjoying quality time with them.
Stacey wrote: ‘Joes in Wales for work so it’s just me and these three friends today.
‘Their matching pajamas make me cry. I also got these from a small company @swans_and_bluebells.
It comes after Stacey described the first two weeks with Belle as “the most special” when she shared a post on Instagram on Tuesday.
The TV personality posted a sweet snapshot of her little boy as he lay on his knees and stared into the camera.
Explaining that Belle is starting to open her eyes and look around her more this week, the star took the opportunity to spend some quality time together.
Beneath the post, many followers also pointed out how much the newcomer looks like her dad Joe in the photos.
Matching outfits, baby Belle was dressed in a dusty pink robe while mommy Stacey rocked a matching pink underwear set.
The little girl clung to her mother’s thumb, her bright blue eyes at the center of the snap.
