Stacey Solomon’s eldest son Zach, 15, makes rare TV appearance as he cringes at his mum’s DIY crafts on Sort Your Life Out
Stacey Solomon enlisted her family as she went through a major transformation during the latest episode of Sort Your Life Out on Tuesday night.
The host of the hit BBC show called on her eldest son Zachary, 15, to help her with some chores as she cleaned up and renovated a family home in Surrey.
Viewers heaped praise on ‘beautiful’ teenager Zach as he made a rare TV appearance alongside his mum, stepdad Joe Swash and siblings Rex, four, Rose, two, and Belle, 13 months.
Zach is Stacey’s eldest child. She gave birth at the age of 18 and divorced his father Dean Cox shortly before the birth. The star is also mum to Leighton, 11, with her ex-fiance Aaron Barham who she split from in 2014, while Joe is dad to her three youngest children.

The presenter of the hit BBC show called on her eldest son to help her with some chores as she tidied up and refurbished a family home in Surrey.
As Stacey and her team rushed to complete their latest Sort Your Life Out transformation, she asked Zach to give her a hand with some of her famous DIY crafts.
The teenager seemed unimpressed by his mother’s idea to decorate a nursery with a stick and some plastic animals, but did receive praise for his tea-making skills.
Later, Zach advised his mother on what needed to be done in the makeover of the guest room, which was transformed into a bedroom for homeowners Shirley and Martin to take care of.
Stacey explained that a teenager would be living there and asked Zach what he thought of the room, and he recommended that the team add a desk.
Viewers praised Zach for calling him “beautiful,” “pleasant” and “pretty funny too.”
Stacey has previously spoken about her close bond with her eldest child after becoming pregnant at the age of 17.
When she shared an Instagram post celebrating Zach’s 14th birthday, she reflected on how her son had given her a ‘purpose’.
“The truth is, you changed my whole life. I could never have imagined the light and love you would bring,” Stacey wrote.

Describing the judgment she received, Stacey added: “When they were 17 years old they said about us, what they didn’t know was that you were my beginning, my reason, my only purpose for getting up and my to do our utmost. And you’ve been by my side ever since.
‘Without you it would never have happened this way. Zachary, I am so proud of the man you are becoming and the kind, caring, wonderful person you are. We did it Zachy.”
“The truth is, every year on Zachy’s birthday, I feel well up most of the day,” she added.
‘When I became pregnant at the age of 17, I never could have imagined that a real angel would be born into my life. It forces me to give my best, never give up and always support me through everything. Zachary, it wasn’t a coincidence.’

The series four finale of Sort Your Life Out left viewers in tears on Tuesday night as Stacey and her team helped tidy up a family home full of memories.
The episode of the BBC One show featured Shirley and Martin who had raised their two daughters in their Surrey home – the same house where Martin grew up.
With their grown daughters out of the house and children of their own, Stacey Solomon and her team – Dilly Carter, Iwan Carrington and Rob Bent – set out to sort through sixty years of memories.
After packing up the house and storing all of the family’s belongings in a large warehouse, it was revealed that they had 189 out-of-date items of food, 124 towels and 306 stuffed animals, among thousands of other belongings.
Viewers praised the moving scenes in which Shirley and Martin discussed the adoption of their daughters Sarah and Katherine and their future plans to foster children in their home.

The couple revealed that after they married 44 years ago, they thought they would have children straight away, but realized ‘nothing happened’.
“To this day I don’t know how we got through that time,” Shirley admitted. They explained that the adoption process took eight years before they were able to welcome first Sarah and then Katherine into their home.
Shirley explained that because it had taken so long to start their family, she was reluctant to part with their belongings and memories, explaining how she felt “so lucky” to have her two children.
The couple also revealed to Stacey that they hope to raise children when they retire. Stacey talked about the idea when she explained that her husband Joe Swash, whose own mother was the foster mother, has the same plans once their children leave home.
