Stacey Solomon CONFIRMS her family will star in a ‘Kardashian-style’ reality show at their beloved Pickle Cottage as she says it’s been a ‘huge leap into the unknown’

Stacey Solomon has confirmed that she and husband Joe Swash have filmed a reality show focused on their family life.

Following reports that they were filming a ‘Kardashian-style’ series at their beloved Pickle Cottage, the Sort Your Life Out star, 35, took to Instagram on New Year’s Day to officially announce the news.

The clip shared a sweet trailer to promote the series and featured Stacey and Joe’s five children playing in the garden of their £1.2million Essex home, alongside their dogs Teddy and Peanut, and her ducks Daisy and Delilah .

The show, titled Stacey & Joe, will air on the BBC later this year, with a broadcast date yet to be announced.

Stacey captioned the post: “A new year. A whole new adventure. Coming Spring 2025. We were so nervous and excited to share this. Here we are. All of us.

‘In 2024 we opened our home and created a series about our life, family, work and everything in between.

‘It was a huge leap into the unknown and it was an absolute whirlwind to make it. But last year, as a family, we decided to say yes to more and do things we had never done before.

‘We have been talking about making a documentary for a long time, many of you have also asked about it. So here we go. A journey that accompanies us every second.

‘Through the laughter, the tears and the craziness… We hope it makes you laugh, feel good and hopefully enjoy getting to know us all a little better.’

Stacey and Joe have signed a lucrative deal with the BBC after chiefs there realized how popular the Loose Women star has become.

They are also thrilled with the success of her show Sort Your Life Out, in which she and her team help families transform their homes.

Insiders at the network say bosses see her as their “new golden girl” because of her “relatability.”

She also has a huge following, especially of young viewers, which the BBC is keen to attract.

Along with the TV couple, who married in 2022, their children Zach, 16, Harry, 16, Leighton, 12, Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, 22 months, will appear on the show.

Filming for the reality show hasn’t been entirely smooth sailing, with Stacey reportedly left in tears after an argument with Joe on the street in November.

In a video obtained by The Sun, the mother-of-five was comforted by her reality TV crew as she tried to cover up her appearance.

An onlooker recognized the famous couple, who tied the knot two years ago and share three children, and claimed they saw Joe, 42, storming into the road outside Westcliff at Sea train station in Essex as he furiously drank a vape after the row smoked.

They revealed: ‘Joe came out of a building alone and stormed down the street, he looked angry and sat on some stairs for a while.

“Stacey came out of the building in tears and she looked very emotional, she was hugging someone.”

The video showed Stacey being embraced in a tight hug before another member of production went to check on Joe.

In May, Stacey revealed her dream was to quit TV work altogether to spend time with her five children, explaining she only wanted to take on work she could do from home.

But she gave fans some hope by hinting that she could always be tempted to return to TV screens to work on a passion project.

Discussing her work on the Glad We Had This Chat podcast, Stacey explained that she wanted to spend more time with her children and had to reconsider her work commitments.

“Every year I have a team meeting with my agent and everyone on the team to say, ‘What’s your plan, what are your goals, blah, blah, blah,’” she explained.

“And when they asked me my five-year goals this year, I thought, ‘I want to be a stay-at-home mom.’

Stacey and Joe will reveal the highs and lows of family life with a large brood – after revealing they adopted ducks while building her Pickle Cottage.

During the renovation, Stacey revealed the addition of two ducklings to her family on Instagram in June when she shared a video of two of her children, Rex, five, and Rose, two, cuddling them while asking fans for name ideas.

She wrote: ‘Welcome to Pickle Cottage Little Ones. We are so excited to love you and we hope you enjoy living here and being part of our crazy family. We have no idea yet what to name our new babies, so any suggestions are welcome.

‘Honestly, I’ve wanted to make our garden a home for ducklings for so long, so thank you @luisazissman for giving me the opportunity to raise your young.’
