The Loose Women panellist, 34, and the actor, 42, made the surprising confession about their marriage situation during an appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox on Friday.

After Joe saw a couple kissing on the Channel 4 series The Nevermets, he told his wife Stacey: ‘We used to talk about kissing, didn’t we?’

Stacey replied, “We used to sleep in bed together, remember? We used to have three children in four years!’

Joe imitated Stacey and continued, “I’ll be in Rex’s bed with the baby, okay?”

In May, Joe admitted it was “really hard” being a father of six children. His sixth child is firstborn Harry, 16, from a previous relationship.
