Stacey Dooley shows off the renovations inside the Liverpool ‘forever home’ she shares with Kevin Clifton and their daughter Minnie

Stacey Dooley took to social media to show off the latest renovations to her beautiful Liverpool home.

The presenter, 37, bought the property in 2020 with her partner Kevin Clifton, 42, and has been documenting the makeover ever since.

Stacey proudly shared a clip of her living room with high ceilings and intricate plaster moldings on Tuesday.

Despite there being no furniture, the presenter has put her own stamp on the property by painting the ceiling olive green – a color used throughout her home.

She captioned the video: “Me, to my painter [painter emoji] upon arrival home.

‘I LOVE IT (so much that I couldn’t wait for a beautiful reveal when it’s all done) ‘BIG HOOPS’ ON THE CEILING BABY (from my collection with @coatpaints obvs have a working relationship with this gap collection, but no obligation to post .(Just sit in it).”

Last year Stacey showed off her dining room with huge bay windows.

In the spacious room, the walls are painted a trendy dark gray, matching the marble mantelpiece.

Guests can dine around the large dining table that seats up to eight people and hangs above it a vintage chandelier.

There is modern art on the walls and large bay windows overlooking a leafy backyard.

Stacey said she was “walking around in disbelief.”

The journalist and her ex Strictly Star partner decided to move closer to Stacey’s mother after falling in love with the Liverpool property after just one viewing.

Professional dancer Kevin told us ECHO of Liverpool: ‘Stacey likes to look at houses on the internet. Viewing interiors and the like is her favorite activity.

‘She happened to see something she liked and thought, ‘Oh, it’s not far from my mum’.

‘We went to look and when she walked in she said, ‘I love it and I can really see us living here.’ It all happened very quickly and we love it.”

Since winning Strictly Come Dancing together in 2018 and making their relationship public, the pair have gone from strength to strength.

However, they like to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, as Stacey told The Guardian: ‘Kev and I have agreed not to go into too much detail about our private lives because you can’t really admit to that and then ask for privacy.

‘That’s why we turned down interviews that offered us tens of thousands of pounds.’

In January 2023, the happy couple welcomed their firstborn daughter, Minnie.

Alongside a photo of an envelope addressed to ‘Minnie’s parents’, she wrote: ‘Our daughter has arrived.

Kevin shared the same image and wrote: ‘Our daughter is here The most beautiful thing I have ever seen. So proud of you. I love you Minnie, I love you Stace x’

The couple announced their pregnancy news in August 2022, sharing a photo of her cradling her bump on Instagram.

The television journalist wrote at the time: ‘Gaaaaaang… We’re having a baby! So damn happy. Kev, you are magical, I love youuuuu.

‘(It became impossible to hide and if one more person asks me if I got my boobs done in LA I’m going to scream). Here goessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
