Stacey said, “Marriage has never been hugely important to me. It’s also well documented that Kev has done it a few times before.

“So you have to keep that in mind, if you come down the aisle like, ‘Hey guys, I know what you’re all thinking.’ It’s just never been anything I dreamed of. But I couldn’t have done this (motherhood) without Kev.”

In the raucous documentary, Stacey reflects on whether she would want another child while still coming to grips with the challenges of raising a newborn, including raging hormones and lack of sleep.

The star added, “I don’t know how people have four kids. I’ve had one and I fail completely.’

Getting used to parenthood has led to some tense moments between Stacey and Kevin, which viewers will see in the documentary.

She announced in August that she and Kevin were expecting their first child, and they welcomed daughter Minnie in January.

Stacey had previously reflected on being childless at the age of 35 while living as a nun for the BBC film Inside The Convent, which fostered an emotional breakdown in the other sisters.

And as she and Kevin met on the Strictly dance floor, Stacey admitted that her partner is less keen on their daughter following in his footsteps.

Last month, Kevin revealed that after finishing the Strictly Ballroom tour, he took a break from all his work to focus on caring for baby Minnie.

He told Digital Spy: ‘It went Singin’ in the Rain, Rock of Ages, The War of the Worlds, Burn the Floor, then I did The Games on ITV, Who Do You Think You Are? and then back to Singin’ in the Rain on tour.

“Then the day after I finished Singin’ in the Rain I started rehearsing for Strictly Ballroom.

“By the time I finish at the end of July it will have been a 10 month tour of Strictly Ballroom. So since we came out of covid it’s just been back-to-back non-stop.

So, for the rest of this year, I’ve decided I’m going to take a break from all the executive work just to be a dad. I don’t want to miss anything from Minnie. So yes, my plan is to take a break once this contract expires.”
