Those looking to indulge in the alcohol can find the cure on TikTok, where the Irish fillet roll has gone somewhat viral – with the roll now available in delis across the UK.
One TikTok user, who shares travel tips with her 58,000 followers, has tried to simplify the process for those just coming across the sandwich, by detailing the perfect order for your first fillet sandwich.
According to Aine, who goes by Travel with Aine, the ideal order for newcomers should consist of a soft white bun, coleslaw instead of mayonnaise and a spicy chicken fillet.
She also said she had to ask for the sandwich to be cut in half.
“I come home once a year and my telltale sign of inflation is the prices of chicken breast sandwiches,” Aine said on TikTok.
