St Albans, Melbourne: Four teenagers stabbed in brawl at skate park involving a machete – as parents say they are scared to let their kids outside
A brutal brawl between two rival groups of youths involving a machete has left four teenagers in hospital with stab wounds.
The two groups clashed at the Errington Reserve Plaza skate park in St Albans, in Melbourne’s northwest, just before 8pm on Saturday.
Four teenagers suffered non-life-threatening stab wounds, with one of the teenagers believed to have been armed with a machete.
Two of the teens, ages 18 and 15, were dropped off at a nearby hospital by an unidentified driver who sped away, police said.
The other boys, both 15 years old, were taken to a hospital around 9:45 p.m.

A Victoria Police spokesperson said both parties are known to each other.
Those involved are not assisting Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit detectives with investigations.
Blood splatter could be seen on the concrete of the skate park on Sunday morning after police combed the scene the night before.
A nearby resident, who wished to remain anonymous, told the Herald Sun that police closed nearby streets until the early morning.
Another local resident, Alan Tran, told the publication that the recent violence had left his children too scared to leave the house at night.
“I’m scared for myself, for my family and for everyone around here,” he said.
No charges have been filed yet and the investigation is ongoing.
