Square Enix’s Two-of-a-Kind FF7 Lego Sculpture Sells for $12.5K
This is a rarity that may never be bid on again. After an intense fan vote, the fateful meeting between Final Fantasy VII characters Cloud Strife and Aerith Gainsborough in the slums of Sector 5 was chosen to be recreated as a LEGO model. Created as a tie-in with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, this exclusive set was given away to one lucky fan. Only two of these sets were ever produced. Standing 41.5 inches tall, 29 inches wide, and 20 inches deep, this massive, highly detailed diorama depicts Cloud and Aerith in the ruined sanctuary, complete with stained glass windows, Gothic columns, broken pews, a hole in the roof, and scattered flower petals on the floor. The roof structure features elaborate trusses, adding to the depth of the scene. Focusing primarily on the interior of the church, this set beautifully captures a key moment in the storyline, making it a must-have collectible and display piece for fans of the game and LEGO builders alike. It is complete and in excellent condition.
