British spy sent to jihadist camp despite ‘highest possible score’ on emotional instability tests, killed own child on return, shocking report claims

  • The man was sent to go undercover as a jihadist soldier in a village in Pakistan

A British spy sent by MI6 to a jihadist camp after being deemed highly emotionally unstable then murdered his own child, a shocking report has revealed.

The unnamed man, then in his 20s, was vetted by intelligence prior to his deployment – and the results of the report on him paint a disturbing picture.

He was rated “the highest possible score” on emotional instability, according to the leaked report, which has been viewed by The times.

Despite the findings, the man was sent to go undercover as a jihadist soldier in a village in Waziristan, Pakistan, which served as a Taliban and al-Qaeda base.

After returning to the UK, the spy killed his own child, who suffered multiple injuries. He was arrested and later found guilty of murder.

According to the leaked document, the spy had more in common with a psychotic person than most members of the public.

He also reported that he had previously suffered a mental breakdown as a young man and had been sexually abused as a child.

The Times also reports that the document shows that the man’s wife was staying at a shelter for victims of domestic violence while he previously worked for MI5.

While with MI6, during his time in Waziristan, he washed and buried dead soldiers and reportedly held the head of a decapitated child.

After suffering extreme stress, flashbacks and violent outbursts upon his return – all of which were allegedly taped by his employer – the man proceeded to murder his own child.

It is believed that he was sent to a psychiatric ward after his arrest and that the jury later acknowledged that he had a mental breakdown.

The man reportedly admitted to killing his child and was found guilty in a largely secret trial.

MI6 has never given an explanation as to why he was hired and the government allegedly has a report, which it refuses to publish, on how the tragic events could have happened.

The Secret Intelligence Service has been contacted for comment.
