Spy Kids 3 star Robert Vito scores legal victory after arrest on domestic violence charge
Spy Kids 3 star Robert Vito has secured a legal victory and will face no charges in connection with his arrest last month.
Vito was taken into custody on domestic violence charges after an alleged altercation with his then-girlfriend Lindsey Jennings, whom he has since split from.
Later in November, the Los Angeles County District Attorney presented his case to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.
This development meant he would not face any misdemeanor charges, as the City Attorney’s Office only prosecutes misdemeanors and certain misdemeanors.
It has now emerged that Vito, 37, will not be charged at all but will have to attend a hearing on alternative methods of conflict resolution.
He will meet with the city attorney to discuss ways to prevent similar situations in the future, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office said TMZ.

If he can avoid legal trouble for a year, Vito will never be charged again in connection with his November arrest.
His attorney Bob M. Farahan said he and his client believe the arrest should never have happened, but acknowledged that police had only heard Jennings’ version of events and thus were operating on limited information.
Days before Thanksgiving, it emerged that Vito had avoided being hit with a crime after the Los Angeles County District Attorney presented his case to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.
The LA County District Attorney’s Office reportedly determined that Vito’s case was not serious enough to merit any charges.
Prosecutors had been investigating Vito’s case since he was arrested last month.
Just six days after the arrest, a Los Angeles judge issued Jennings a restraining order against Vito, with whom she shares a three-year-old son, Bode Vito Armando Diaz.
The Spy Kids 3: Game Over actor was released on the morning of November 9 after posting $50,000 bail and spending a night in jail, according to TMZ.

The Tampa-born actor has also guest-starred on episodes of Chicago Hope, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Bernie Mac Show, Port Charles and American Dreams.
His career as a film actor seems to have dried up in recent years, as his last credited appearance took place IMDb is from the 2011 film Robotropolis.
Attempts to contact the actor were unsuccessful.
So far, it appears he has not publicly commented on his arrest or subsequent legal developments.
