Victor Wembanyama arrived in full costume for the Spurs’ Halloween game against the Suns, as the rookie showed up to Phoenix’s Footprint Center dressed as the ‘Slender Man’.
The fictional character is described by Know your meme as a “mythical creature often depicted as a tall, thin figure wearing a black suit and a blank face.”
And the 7ft Wembanyama followed that to a tee, donning a black suit and dress shoes with his face covered by gray spandex.
Considering the ‘Slender Man’s lanky build,’ one fan joked that the French teen was ‘dressed as himself’.
Know Your Meme also says that the character “can extend or shorten his arms at will and has tentacle-like appendages protruding from his back.”

Wembanyama may not quite have those characteristics, but he does have an outrageous wingspan of over seven feet, which has made him an excellent defensive player.
Through three games with the Spurs, he is averaging 1.7 blocks and two steals per game.
He has also grabbed 7.3 rebounds per game.
Wembanyama, the first overall pick in this year’s NBA draft, made his long-awaited NBA debut last week as the Spurs lost to the Mavericks.
He scored 15 points in the game and has scored in double figures in every game so far.
