Spotify has launched a new tool that creates personalized mixes to suit almost any mood, activity, or thing you can think of.
‘Angry Whistling’ and ‘Sad Cooking’ are among tens of thousands of new playlists now available to create thanks to the music platform’s new Niche Mixes creator.
Regardless of the occasion, Spotify claims that the tool can create playlists filled with both songs you already know and others to suit any mood.
Five to 10 of these mixes are updated daily, but the music giant also encourages users to look for other playlists — be it “Angry Running” or something outlandish like “Milk.”
It said, “If you want to get super specific, look for an activity, vibe, or aesthetic that describes the moment you’re in, and add the word ‘mix’ at the end.” ‘Do not be shy. Be creative. The more Mixes you search for, the more music you can discover.”

But Spotify listeners are shocked by some of the more obscure mixes featured on the platform, including “Dog Water,” “Milk,” and “Battle Clown” music.
Last November, a Twitter user said they were “mesmerized” by the playlists generated for them.
‘Murder Ballad’, ‘Angry Tuna’ and ‘Sad Pirate’ mixes were also among the mixes the platform made for them.
They said, ‘Sorry, I’m just utterly mesmerized by the assortment of playlists Spotify has automatically generated for me. what is eggpunk. battle clown music? Am I having a stroke?’
Another shared that they recommended an “Insanecore Mix,” saying, “Call me out for some.”
