Spotify has just dropped a huge hint that this year’s Spotify Wrapped may drop today.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the streaming giant wrote: “Wrapped… coming soon.” Very close.’

This once-a-year ‘Wrap’ feature will break down how great or weird your music choices have been this year and reveal what you’ve been up to in the last 12 months.

Speculation abounded on social media about the exact release date.

While many people suggested that the feature might drop on Friday, others claimed that it could be released as early as today.

Spotify’s mysterious post has left music fans excited and frantically searching for more information about Wrapped’s release date.

Spotify first launched its “Year in Music” playlist feature in 2015 before following up with the first Spotify Wrapped in 2016 as an emailed list of top songs to users.

However, it wasn’t until 2019 that the company debuted the Instagram-friendly format that we all know today.

However, since its launch, there has been no firm date for the feature’s annual release, leaving fans wildly speculating about a possible date.

Some fans have suggested that the annual finale may be released today.

For the past three years, Spotify Wrapped has been released on a Wednesday afternoon, sparking suggestions that it may be released later today.

One popular theory is that Wrapped will drop on Friday to coincide with the first day of December.

Many commenters enthusiastically pointed out that the 2021 Spotify Wrapped was released on December 1 and that the release comes in December every year before 2022.

Other social media users approached with even wilder speculation as commenters delved into the scant details of Spotify’s post for answers.

“There are 3 dots which means it’s coming out in 3 days and it’s the 30th,” said one commenter, referring to Spotify’s statement that “Wrapped…is close.”

The easiest way to find Spotify Wrapped, when it’s released, is to simply open the mobile app on your phone.

When you open the app, you should receive an invitation to directly access your envelope report.

If you decline the invitation or want to return to it later on your mobile phone, simply go to Spotify wrapped web page.

If the app is already installed, the site will open the app in your 2023 Spotify Wrapped summary.

On your app homepage, you can also search for “Wrapped” which will bring up the “Your Top Songs” playlist under the “Made for You” tag.

On your computer, simply sign in to your browser or desktop app to see the notification for your wrapped report or follow the link to the wrapped website for more information.
