Spot the hidden messages in Queen Mary’s outfit as she delivers emotional speech about ‘home’ and ‘love’

Queen Mary of Denmark looked radiant in an orange floral dress by Australian designer Zimmermann as she led a crowd in song to celebrate the longest day of the year on Friday.

But eagle-eyed fans believe the royal used her moment in the sun to deliver a coded message about her family life and ‘prevailing’ love.

The Australian-born queen, 52, hosted the annual Maratonsang event at the University of Copenhagen on June 21, known in the rest of Europe as the ‘summer solstice’.

But it wasn’t the event, which has become a permanent fixture in the Queen’s calendar, that everyone was talking about. Instead, it was her summer dress and carefully chosen accessories.

It seems the Queen paid respect to Australia, her home and her love for the King with her put-together outfit.

The orange dress with long sleeves is from Australian fashion house Zimmermann, a favorite of Mary’s, who often chooses Australian or Danish designers.

But the color and design of the address are just as important, according to royal guards.

The orange represents joy and abundance, and is said to ‘rejuvenate’ the mind when we look at color psychology. The white lilies, on the other hand, represent purity and rebirth.

Her nails, vibrant red, signal strength and courage,

The outfit was tied together with a simple ‘letter F’, presumably for ‘Frederik’, on a fine gold chain.

Although often worn by the Queen, fans claim the accessory adds to her ‘cryptic’ message.

As does her timing, with the solstice themes of innovation reflecting her outfit choices and resulting theories.

‘Spiritually, the summer solstice represents rebirth. Astrologically, it symbolizes a season of focusing on home, family and personal development, so she’s really on top of everything as usual,” one fan commented.

‘She tells us that they have started over in their relationship – they are reborn as a couple and in love again. She found the courage to move past whatever happened,” said another.

“It’s so good that she seems happy again, and has found her love for our King after losing it.”

The Queen’s speech also highlighted the theme of relationships.

‘There is something particularly beautiful about singing together, because we feel connected to each other. Whether it is at school, at church, at a party or at a marathon like today,” she said.

The Danes were happy that the queen helped them celebrate the longest day, when they experienced 17 hours and 30 minutes of sunshine.

‘I’m always in awe of Mary. How she managed to adapt to and adopt Danish culture and traditions, and learn the language. What a gift she is to us,” one woman wrote on Palace’s Instagram account.

Queen Mary’s ‘fairytale’ relationship with King Frederick has been in the spotlight since November 2023 when the then Crown Prince was spotted in Spain with another woman: his friend, Mexican socialite Genoveva Casanova.

Since then, the couple has been less tactile in public and appears to be opting to attend events solo.

However, they were together on June 6 to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Denmark.
