Waltman has played down suggestions that there is “zero chance” he will appear
“I can still carry on with peace of mind, at least for a few minutes,” he posted on social media.
‘I can do all my kicks except the one in the corner and I can do that again with a few weeks of training.
“It’ll be at least a month before I take my shirt off in public, so there’s zero chance I’ll be in the Rumble.”
Former world champions Liv Morgan and Naomi have also been tipped for a role in the Royal Rumble.
Morgan has been out of action for several months after suffering a shoulder injury in July.
The 29-year-old, who made her main roster debut as a member of the ‘Riot Squad’ alongside Ruby Riott in 2017, won the women’s Money in the Bank competition in 2022.
