Spirit Halloween has received complaints about the meme after critics mistook it for a real product sold by the store.
“This is not an officially licensed suit from our company,” the company tweeted on Sunday. ‘Photoshopping our packages seems to be the trend at the moment. We will pass this on to our review team. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.’
