Spirit Airlines passengers freak out after noticing unwanted traveler onboard flight from Dallas to Los Angeles
Passengers aboard a Spirit Airlines flight from Dallas to Los Angeles were shocked to discover an unaccompanied and unwanted traveler sitting directly above their heads.
An eagle-eyed customer spotted a pair of tiny claws and a tail in the ceiling lighting panel of the Airbus A320 aircraft, which houses vital electrical wiring.
It was a blink-and-you-miss-it case as the rodent appeared to quickly flee seconds after it was spotted by the passenger sitting in the back of the plane during the three-hour flight to the West Coast.
Footage of the shocking incident, which showed the silhouette moving in, was captured on mobile phone video and posted to social media, where it has been viewed more than 2 million times, along with some funny comments.

“You’ve all seen Snakes on a Plane. These are raccoons in the frame,” one user joked.
“Ratotuille has changed careers, I see,” joked another.
‘Rocky Raccoon goes to LA to become a STAR! He’ll probably be on the tables at Chucky Cheese next week!’ added a third.
‘Mice on airplanes are extremely dangerous because they chew on wires. If you ever see that, tell the flight crew immediately,” wrote another concerned viewer.

“Someone should tell me what’s up there, we’re not about to just keep flying while something crawls over my head,” read one Instagram comment.
It is not known on which specific flight the chilling scene was spotted.
Spirit flies between Dallas and Los Angeles three times a day: flight NK420, flight NK363 and flight NK370
The airline responded to the disturbing footage in a statement: “We are aware of the video and are taking steps to address this matter,” Spirit Airlines said.
