Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse trailer shows Miles Morales battling to save the Multiverse
Miles Morales, the best-known alternate Spider-Man identity in contemporary comics, returned in the latest full trailer for Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse on Tuesday.
The film, a sequel to 2018’s Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, features Miles (voiced by Shameik Moore) as his friend Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) lures him back into the Multiverse.
Despite the high-energy content of the first film, the trailer for the sequel opens with a somber conversation between Miles and his mother Rio, again voiced by Luna Lauren Velez.
Miles is seen in his street clothes as he looks out over New York City from the roof of his apartment building as his mother quietly approaches from behind.
