Spencer Pratt looks distraught as he watches horrific Pacific Palisades fire engulf his home with Heidi Montag

Spencer Pratt and his wife Heidi Montag tragically lost their home during the massive wildfire that swept through Los Angeles’ Pacific Palisades neighborhood.

Pratt, 41, was captured in photos watching the fast-moving fire move toward his home, which is in an area with many celebrity estates also at risk of burning.

Sources said TMZ that Spencer and Heidi’s home was completely destroyed after it caught fire on Tuesday.

Fortunately, the couple and their two sons were able to evacuate safely earlier in the day before the flames got too close.

However, they are distraught at the staggering loss.

Spencer documented firefighters’ efforts to control the blaze with a video on his Instagram Stories showing a plane dropping water on a nearby mountain.

Video taken near the couple’s home shows Spencer looking somberly at the approaching flames as he stood on a hill with a group of people, including one person who appeared to be his father.

The Hills star, who wore a black graphic T-shirt, olive shorts and black sneakers, rubbed his eyes at one point, possibly due to irritating smoke or flying debris.

The roar of the wind that fanned the fires sometimes overwhelmed the sound of the clip.

One man could be heard urging others to evacuate immediately, but others sounded unconcerned and laughed amid the advancing flames.

Spencer, standing on a wooden boardwalk among shrubs and succulents, was photographed documenting the fire on his phone.

The full extent of the destruction is not yet clear, but other homes near Spencer and Heidi are likely affected by the wildfire.

The cool west side of Pacific Palisades is home to a bevy of stars, including Ben Affleck, Tom Hanks, Miles Teller, Reese Witherspoon, Adam Sandler and Jhene Aiko, among others.

Actor James Woods shared images of the fire on Instagram on Tuesday as he announced he was evacuating.

The wildfire has already engulfed more than 1,200 hectares in the area, which is sparsely populated with huge celebrity estates surrounded by vegetation-covered hills, leaving plenty of fuel for the fire, unlike the denser neighborhoods further inland.

The Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday that the Getty Villa, a museum designed in the image of an ancient Roman villa, was threatened by the forest fire.

Some of the vegetation on the museum grounds had burned, but the campus buildings were reportedly still safe and the artworks and sculptures had been sealed to prevent smoke damage.

Katherine E. Fleming, the president and CEO of the J. Paul Getty Trust, boasted in a statement that the Getty Villa had made “extensive efforts to clean up the surrounding area as part of its year-round firefighting efforts.”

“Some trees and vegetation on the site have been burned, but staff and the collection have remained safe,” she said.
