Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test: Tom Sandoval cries after Jack Osbourne gives him bloody nose during one-on-one combat exercise

Tom Sandoval cried after being punched by Jack Osborne during a combat drill on Monday’s episode of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test on Fox.

The 40-year-old Bravo reality star previously said the other recruits he wanted to punish after his affair made national news.

Sandoval said before the scandal that he would meet people who thought he was cool because he was on Vanderpump Rules.

“And now people think I’m a total narcissist,” Sandoval said. Creeper vibes. I’m definitely not here to escape. I want to punish myself. I think I deserve it.’

On the fourth day of the program, Sandoval explained to Erin Jackson, 30, an Olympic gold medal speed skater, about ‘Scandoval’.

He was, of course, referring to his months-long affair with Vanderpump Rules co-star Raquel Lewis, 29, which was sparked behind his longtime girlfriend Ariana Maddix, 38.

“It was a pretty juicy scandal,” Sandoval said. “If you opened Instagram, you’d see me, Ariana, every day.”

‘Who is she?’ Erin asked.

“My ex,” Sandoval said. ‘Long story. I had an affair and it just blew up. People sent me messages only vicious, so visceral, like hate.’

“What made it such a big deal?” Erin asked.

“Honestly, I don’t know,” Sandoval said. ‘I’m a stupid reality star. Like, come on.’

The second season episode featured an exercise where the remaining recruits were tasked with fighting each other in one-on-one combat.

Sandoval was first paired against Nick Viall, 43, and was declared the winner despite the punches after being told to stop.

He then had to deal with Jack, 37, who punched him in the face causing Sandoval’s nose to bleed.

Jack was declared the winner and Tom the loser.

Sandoval was low-spirited in camp and became emotional while using the outdoor restroom and said practice was intense.

He admitted that he both laughed and cried while sitting on the toilet.

“I felt so defeated there,” Tom said.

The instructors then called Sandoval in for questioning.

“I’ve had a hell of a three months,” Sandoval said. “I had an affair with another woman.” She was also on the show. It was a perfect storm. As my publicist had never seen anything like it. A fucking reality star is having an affair on CNN. That’s so stupid. It became a ‘Team Ariana’ thing. They sold $200,000 worth of merchandise in two weeks. Seeing people I’ve been friends with for over a decade just turned me around. It was so exhausting.’

“Trying to play the victim, it looks pathetic,” Mark “Billy” Billingham, a former SAS major, told him. “You are not a victim. You created this.’

“The first thing you have to do is own it,” said Jason “Foxy” Fox, a former SBS operator. “In the work we did, we cannot blame anyone else. We have to own it fast because if we don’t, people will die. They died.’

“I think if I explain things it would look like I’m not taking responsibility,” Sandoval said. “I handled it like a coward.” And I should have done the right thing.’

“This course is your opportunity to be a person of integrity to the people around you and to us and make this your new beginning,” Fauci said.

“Yeah, that’s what I want,” Sandoval said.

They took Sandoval back to camp and he told the others that the session was therapeutic for him.

“I feel with everything I have a fire inside me that’s raging,” Sandoval said. “That could be my biggest strength that guides me through selection.” Or it could be my downfall.’

When the episode titled Character opened, only eight of the original 14 members remained on day four. Kelly Rizzo, 44, lifestyle TV host and widow of Bob Saget, combed her hair with a fork.

“I lost Bob last year and it changed me in so many ways,” Kelly said. “This, you would think, is a little crazy.” He would cheer me on. He would root for me. So that’s what I’m carrying with me.’

“Oh shit,” Sandoval said.

Erin led one team, but they struggled to carry their boat. Kelly dropped the boat.

“My back is out,” Kelly said.

Sandoval yelled for the team to keep going.

‘I’m fucking trying,’ Kelly said.

Bode Miller, 45, provided strong leadership as he led his team which included Jack.

“I have good friends in the SAS and SBS,” Jack said in the confessional. “I guess you could say I’m a bit of an armchair soldier.” I want to experience the challenge.’

Kelly yelled that her back was thrown out and she couldn’t even walk. The coaches were yelling at her to keep going. Kelly said in the confessional that she doesn’t want to give up. Kelly then knelt in the water crying. Sandoval helped her up. Kelly then proceeded to help her team move the boat.

When the teams reached the lake they were instructed to pack the heavy equipment into the boat and rush to the other side.

Kelly started crying and said she was traumatized.

“Get into position,” Sandoval told her. ‘You will fail us if you give up.’

“Guys, I’m not good,” Kelly said. “Please stop telling me that.” I’m not good.’

Kelly tore off her tape and said she couldn’t go on.

“It hurts too much,” Kelly said. ‘Let me do what I need to do for myself.’

Billy took the tape from her and told her to go to the doctor and leave her things. Kelly left crying.

“What I’ve learned in the past year and a half is that things don’t go according to plan,” Kelly said. ‘And just accepting that life is going to be very different from what you expected.’

Kelly was the seventh recruit to leave the course.

After the teams paddled across the lake, they had to stow their gear under the cover of the trees and run to the top of the hill. Sandoval panted as he walked up the hill. Tyler Cameron, 30, threw up when he finished.

“Put up so we can see your face,” said Billy.

The coaches then brought Erin in for a debriefing because they didn’t think she did a good job as team captain.

“I don’t care if you were the fastest and fittest,” said Billy. “What I expected was that you would shoot more from the front.” I didn’t see that.’

“I think I’m more of a quiet motivational leader than yelling at people,” Erin said.

She told them how she lost her mother and how she was not there when she died. They told her she needed to step things up and bring more to the table.

Erin told the others that she always butted heads with her mother. Tyler said his mother was difficult. In the confessional, Tyler said that on February 27, 2020, he received a phone call that his mother had been in an accident.

“She had a brain aneurysm and it was one of the hardest days of my life,” Tyler said.

He said he never said he loved her and he lost someone he called.

“I feel a little lost now sometimes,” Tyler said.

The recruits were then told to escape from the camp for combat duty.

Billy paired them up and told them to fight each other. Bode was paired with Tyler, who was 15 years his junior. The two then punched each other again and again.

“I don’t see,” Bode said.

Billy then stopped and said it was a good effort.

JoJo Siva, 20, went up against Erin. Erin said in the confessional that she had never fought in her life. JoJo said she boxed at home. The trainers screamed at them to hit the head, and Erin hit several of them. JoJo fought back and was declared the winner.

Before the match against Sandoval, Jack said in a confessional that he was a pretty good fighter and that he competes in jiujitsu tournaments.

Sandoval became bloodied when Jack landed blows to the head and face.

“These last few months I felt like I was just being hit from all sides blindfolded,” Sandoval said in the confessional. “I carry a lot of anger and worry about my emotions getting the better of me.”
