Sovereign citizen is brutally slapped down by a cop in NSW: ‘This isn’t America’
Sovereign citizen is brutally beaten down by a cop while being held for a random breath test: ‘This is not America, mate’
- A man has been detained in NSW for a breath test
- Before he drove off, he argued with the police
A ‘sovereign citizen’ detained by police has been given a no-nonsense service after refusing to cooperate with a random breath test.
After asking for the officer’s badge number, he was told bluntly, “This isn’t America, mate.”
The Victorian man was driving in NSW when he was stopped by police for an RBT. Footage of the incident, filmed by a passenger in the car, was uploaded to a “cooker watch” social media page on Monday.
The vision shows a single police officer approaching the driver’s side of the vehicle.
The driver seems calm at first and asks: ‘What is the emergency center today and how can I help?’
“I just stopped you for a random breath test,” the police officer responds.

A dog in the backseat of the car was watching the police officer
The officer informs the driver that he has a camera with him and that ‘everything is being recorded’.
After asking again to see the man’s driver’s license, the officer asks the driver to open his door so he doesn’t have to reach in through the open rear window where a dog is in the backseat.
“I don’t want to put my hand in there and have that dog bite me,” he says.
The driver then appears frustrated and raises his voice.
“Just give me the f****** machine mate,” he says.
“I’ll blow in the bag and then I’ll go.”
At one point you will hear the driver or passenger asking a cop standing on the footpath next to the car for their ‘badge number’.
The officer replies that he has none.
“This isn’t America, mate,” he tells the men in the car.

The police officer repeats his request to see the man’s driver’s license, but the driver continues to yell.
“I didn’t do anything wrong,” he says.
“There’s no emergency here, you just pulled me over because I’m a Victorian license plate in your town.”
The officer can be heard calling for backup on his walkie-talkie.
The officer and the driver then get into an argument about the moments leading up to his arrest.
After being asked again to hand over his driver’s license, the man eventually agrees, but is not happy about it.
“Shoot to size,” he says.
“Don’t grab it, childish little f***.”
The police officer asks the driver if he had any alcohol on the day to which the man replied ‘no’.
“That’s why I’m p*****,” he says.
As backup, several more police cars and agents arrive at the scene.
The pair continue to harass the police as they drive away.
