Southern California teacher suspended for sexually explicit anal sex lesson

An anatomy teacher at a Southern California high school has been suspended following backlash from parents over a “sexually explicit” anatomy class that was labeled “obscene” by a parent.

The physiology and environmental sciences teacher, referred to in reports as Judy Rehburg, was captured on camera last week teaching seniors about anal sex, vibrators, the g-spot, and how to pleasure the prostate.

The one-minute, 20-second clip shows the teacher from Alta Loma, CA, using diagrams to teach senior students at El Dorado High School in Placentia, Los Angeles, about prostate gland stimulation and “male-anal sex.” on men’.

Rehburg, who has worked at the school for at least seven years, also tells her students — who are ages 17 and 18 — that sex toys can be found at general stores, including Target.

After the video circulated widely online, at a Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) board meeting, parents expressed their anger at the class — while students defended her online.

A PYLUSD mom, Lisa Aultman, labeled Rehburg a “political activist” who, she says, discussed “completely inappropriate, obscene, and perverted” material with teens.

“I have a few comments about the El Dorado teacher who was caught on a hidden camera teaching kids about male-to-male anal sex, sexual pleasure from the prostate, the g-spot, buttholes, vibrators, and how to use them. use and where to use them. buy them,” she told the board’s live-streamed meeting on Tuesday:

“This was a completely inappropriate, obscene and perverted discussion that this teacher was having with high school students, paid for with our tax dollars.

“Why are sexually explicit materials being taught in our public schools with our tax dollars? Who approved this material?’

Altman added: “I don’t send my kids to school every day to learn how crap is introduced by some political activist teacher…

“These activist teachers are abusing their positions of authority to try to sexualize and indoctrinate our children. Please do something about it.’

Alyssia Griffiths, PYLUSD communications director, said the teacher was placed on administrative leave after parents filed an official complaint.

“District employees are trusted to use professional judgment in deciding whether or not a particular topic is appropriate for study or discussion,” she shared. Fox news.

“In the classroom, staff members act on behalf of the district and are expected to follow established curriculum, and are not allowed to represent personal opinions or positions.

“That said, PYLUSD and EDHS will continue to work diligently to ensure that all students have the opportunity to learn in a safe and respectful environment.”

In the wake of Rehburg’s suspension, students have defended her online, including through social media pages and the hashtag #freejudy.

Using an Instagram account of the same name, an unnamed student who said they appear on the left in the original video said her words were taken out of context.

They said, ‘I would like to say that everything our teacher teaches is instructive.

“This is an anatomy/physiology lesson.

“At the time this video was posted, Ms. Rehburg was simply answering a student’s question anatomically, not in any way.

“The question she responded to was about the male prostate, and she gave the correct answer in a way a teenager would understand.”

Others also defended Rehburg in the comments, including one who agreed there was “nothing promiscuous or suggestive in her tone.”

They added: ‘I am more than certain that no student was uncomfortable in class.

“She made sure we talked about the entire curriculum at the beginning of the year, and students and parents had to sign a syllabus at the beginning of the year.”

The student added that Rehburg “never encouraged us to do anything bad” and “made sure students had to drop class if they weren’t prepared for the topics covered.”

“To censor this at the high school level while allowing all sorts of liberal indoctrinations is hypocritical at best,” they added.

One person criticized the parents who had complained, saying they should “grow up and learn on their own.”

Another commented, “People would rather their kids learn from other kids and the internet than have a safe space to ask a knowledgeable educator questions they’re afraid to ask out loud.”

Meanwhile, Molly Kurzbard, a parent of an El Dorado High student, said Rehburg is “everyone’s favorite teacher.”

“She’s nice,” Kurzbard said The Orange County Registry. “She loves nature, plants, birds and all biology.”

In 2016, the California Board of Education passed comprehensive sex education laws to include health education inclusivity through the California Healthy Youth Act.

This law states that “instruction must affirmatively acknowledge that people have different sexual orientations and, when discussing or giving examples of relationships and pairings, must include same-sex relationships.”

The Association of Placentia-Linda Educators, which represents Rehburg, declined to comment and Rehburg could not be reached immediately.

Board members and El Dorado High Principal Joey Davis shared the district’s statement.
