Southampton have agreed a £18million transfer fee with Arsenal for goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

As reported by Sky SportThe deal for Ramsdale could potentially rise to £25m if performance-related bonuses are added.

The report said negotiations are still ongoing over other aspects of the deal, but there is hope the move can be completed.

Arsenal have informed Ramsdale he could leave if the Gunners receive a suitable offer for him.

Ramsdale is behind David Raya in the Arsenal pecking order, with his last game for the club coming against Brentford in March.

England international Ramsdale joined Arsenal in 2021 and has made 89 appearances for the club.

He previously played for Sheffield United and Bournemouth.
