Southampton 1-5 Chelsea: Five-star Blues continue their title challenge as Cole Palmer and Co run riot in Saints hammering

Chelsea continued their rise in the Premier League with a five-star performance against Southampton, featuring five different goalscorers in the 5–1 win.

The Blues found themselves level after Axel Disasi’s opener was canceled out by Joe Aribo’s 11th-minute strike, but things never looked uneasy again as the goals came one by one.

Christopher Nkunku had the visitors back in front just six minutes later to give Chelsea a three-goal lead heading into half-time.

Southampton attempted a temporary comeback but all hopes were extinguished when Cole Palmer put the result to bed before Jadon Sancho scored a fifth in stoppage time.
