A 2005 episode of South Park mocking a transgender woman who demands an abortion despite being unable to get pregnant went viral 18 years after it first aired, as trans issues continue to dominate today’s politically correct climate.

The episode is titled Mr. Garrison’s Fancy New Vagina. He taunts a transgender woman—Garrison—by demanding an abortion, assuming she is pregnant because she hasn’t menstruated.

Garrison is outraged that she can’t have a baby, or abort one, despite paying $5,000 for gender reassignment surgery.

The episode also makes brutal comments about abortions, saying they “scramble babies’ brains.”

It went viral this week against the backdrop of the ongoing angry debate on transgender issues, and as the show, a 1990s and early 2000s stalwart, gained renewed interest in poking fun at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The episode titled Mr. Garrison’s Fancy New Vagina mocks an outraged trans woman who demands an abortion, assuming she is pregnant, despite having no ovaries or uterus.

Republican commentators, including Donald Trump Jr., who said the comedy series “gets it done.”

The sketch is set in Planned Parenthood. Garrison, a biological man who has undergone gender reassignment surgery, is called into the doctor’s office.

‘Hello doctor, looks like I need an abortion,’ she says.

‘An abortion?’ the doctor answers.

‘Yes, I have one growing inside of me. Now, are you going to rack his brains out or just suck him up?’ Garrison asks, in a not-so-subtle rebuke of abortion by the South Park writers.

The doctor sighs and says, ‘Mr. Garrison’, to which she replies, ‘Mrs. Garrison!’

The doctor perseveres.

‘Lady. Garrison, you can’t have an abortion.

Don’t tell me what I can and can’t do with my body! A woman has the right to choose! she says to herself, jumping out of the doctor’s chair and into the stirrups.

Republicans celebrated the clip on Twitter, saying it “destroys the trans movement and abortion” in one fell swoop.

‘No, I mean you physically can’t have an abortion because you can’t get pregnant,’ explains the doctor.

“But I missed my period,” Garrison says, confused.

You can’t have periods either. He’s had a sex change, Mr. Garrison, but he has no ovaries or womb. He does not produce eggs.

A downtrodden Garrison replies, “You mean I’ll never know what it’s like to have a baby growing inside me and rack its brains and suck it up?”

The doctor confirms: ‘That’s right’.

‘But I paid $5,000 to be a woman. This would mean that I am not really a woman. I’m just a guy with a mutilated penis,” says Garrison.

The doctor agrees, “Basically, yes,” to which Garrison replies, “Wow, I feel like an idiot.”

Others pointed to a different episode from 2014 in which Cartman dons a pink bow on his head and calls himself transgender in order to use the girls’ school bathrooms.
