South Lomei Labyrinth, shrine solutions in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Labyrinth of South Lomei in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a large ancient maze that hides two shrines: Motsusis Shrine And Siyamotsus Shrine. It consists of three parts in total: on the surface, in the air and in the depths. The Labyrinth of South Lomei must be completed in that order, with each new stage opening as soon as the last one is completed.

If you the Labyrinth of North Lomei, the solution will be familiar to you. The Labyrinth of South Lomei follows the same rules as its northern counterpart; the first maze navigates through the darkness to get to the shrine in the center. The South Lomei Sky Labyrinth opens after that and is where the second shrine is, after which you enter the maze of gliders. Finally, the depths open up for a battle with the Flux Construction IIIwhere you get some nice gear.

When you’re done, our shrine locations page or interactive Hyrule map can lead you to something else.

If you the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower, that’s a good starting point to slide into the labyrinth – you can slide southeast from there. The aerial and depth versions of the Labyrinth of South Lomei are directly above and below, but don’t worry about going there just yet.

The Motsusis Shrine is in the middle of the maze – finding it is the puzzle itself. At the entrance you will find a researcher’s notebook that says there is a trace of it acorns leads to the center of the Labyrinth of South Lomei. Follow the trail of acorns to the center and to the Motsusis Shrine.

It’s pretty easy to follow the acorns, especially if you’ve unlocked Purah Pad’s Sensor +. You can set this to follow acorns, making it easier to follow the path to the center of the maze.

There are two ways to solve the puzzle – and the second is a lot faster. But first, let’s start following the acorns.

1. Take the first right after entering the maze.

2. Take one left then go straight across the gloom. You can climb the walls to get around them, or make a campfire with pine cones to create a draft to get over them.

3. Beyond the darkness you will see a campsite. Play left just before.

4. Turn over left and go down the stairs on the left.

5. Go straight past the twilight.

6. Take the first rightthen quickly left and a fast one right.

7. Take one right at the fork and go up the stairs,

8. Turn right. You see the note left there, because it is hidden under a mound of sand.

9. Go straight up the stairs and then turn around left.

10. Take the first left.

11. Make a quick one rightThan leftThan rightThan left. These are hardly turns – you’re basically going diagonally in a straight line.

12. Take the last one right before the dead end.

13. Spin left.

14. Go straight up and down the stairs. There is a campground at the fork. Play right. (The acorn is under the sand pile.)

15. Head left on the stairs.

16. Fall straight over the twilight. On the corner where you turn left, there is a lot of gloom to get over. Also go straight past the next gloomy area.

17. Turn left at the end of the corridor, about more gloom.

18. Spin rightThan left. There’s a campground down the road.

19. Go down a few levels and the Motsusis Shrine will be on the left.

20. Turn around and go straight to the other side of the room activate the terminal and open the celestial labyrinth.

Not you to have to follow the acorns to make it to the center of the South Lomei Sky Labyrinth, However. If you climb to the top of the maze and travel over the walls, you can cut to the center of the maze. Descend just southeast of downtown and follow the fast path from acorns to the shrine and terminal.

Motsusis Shrine Solution

Motsusis Shrine is a Rauru’s blessing shrine, which means you just have to go inside to complete the shrine. The exact location is on the coordinates of (0408, 2133, 0144). Inside there is one chest containing a large Zonai cargo. Use the sigil to complete the shrine and collect the Light of blessing.

If you look up from the surface terminal, you will see the sky labyrinth. You can’t easily get up from here, so you want to get back to the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower. Use the skyview tower to shoot into the sky and then go to the East Gerudo Sky archipelago – you will not be able to make the full flight to the sky labyrinth without this step. You will see a large pillar, so aim for it.

Once you’re on the East Gerudo Sky archipelago, build a glider with the materials on the sky island. One was made with some fans, but I also attached an island rocket to it, in addition to two batteries taken from my Zonai gatcha balls. Use the airstrip to blast into the air and fly south South Lomei Sky Labyrinth. My device broke down before I got all the way there, but I was able to slide to the platform with the Siyamotsus Shrine.

Siyamotsus Shrine Solution

The Siyamotsus Shrineon the coordinates (-1793, -3331, 1015) in the Gerudo Sky, is an “unenlightened blessing”. To get started, go to the chest and grab the Mighty Construct bow and the near arrows. You need them. There are several Fire Fruit nearby shrubs to collect from as well.

The shrine will shift and transform, the exit is now inaccessible to Link. On the now vertical platform, there are four braziers. Two are unlit. Use your arrows and Fire Fruit to light the two unlit braziers.

The shrine shifts, so it cannot be accessed without a launcher

Once that’s done, the shrine will reveal a launcher beneath the chest. Use that to launch to the sigil. Examine it to complete the shrine and collect the Light of blessing.

South Lomei Sky Labyrinth Maze Walkthrough

Go past the Siyamotsus Shrine to activate the dragon terminal for the South Lomei Sky Labyrinth to open the maze.

Like with the North Lomei Sky Labyrinth, the minimap is essential to get through this maze. It’s a challenging maze that you must navigate using your glider and air blasts to unlock four terminals. The maze is complicated, but you will also have to control your stamina to make sure you don’t fall to the ground.

Instead of looking at the maze itself, look at your minimap and follow the blue path to reach the four terminals. I barely looked at most of the screen while navigating – just the minimap.

Link is at a terminal

Once you reach all four terminals, there should be a huge blast of air to take you to the top of the maze. But you can also use To take off to swim through the walls and to the top. (You can also just navigate to the four terminals by following the path from the top of the maze, using To take off to recover after each.)

When you are done with the four terminals you will see the dragon terminal which will open the depths. The gate to the deep opens as soon as it is activated. Get in!

Deep labyrinth of South Lomei

Link points an arrow at the Flux Construct III

There isn’t much of a puzzle here, just a boss fight. Use a Brightbloom seed once you are close to the ground to light up the area. Otherwise you walk around in the dark. You can see the … Flux Construction III under the grids you landed on. Go down the stairs on either side of the room to start the fight.

Fight against the Flux Construction III isn’t easy, but the strategy that consistently worked for me was targeting the Construct with a Bomb flower arrow to start the fight (and deal some extra damage).

I stayed on the higher platforms for safety unless I had to jump down to do some damage. I used arrows to attack from further away, then when the Construct got close enough I used Ultra convenient to pull out the glowing box and then whack it with a powerful weapon. I just kept doing this, dodging attacks, until it was defeated.

The Flux Construction III will drop a lot of things. Get it to pick it up and attach the core – which you can’t pick up – to a weapon. a chest spawns in the middle of the room with the Mask evil spirit inside.

Good job!
