South Carolina State University and nearby Claflin University are on lockdown after reports of shots fired.
Both schools have been on lockdown since 11:30 a.m. after Claflin’s alert system issued a message about a possible shooting, according to ABC 15.
A suspect is reportedly still at the scene and wearing all black and a balaclava, the outlet said.
