Welcome back to the Soul of Sport. For the latest episode of the series, KEVIN QUIGLEY traveled to the Emirates to watch Arsenal beat Liverpool 3-1.

With Jurgen Klopp’s side leading the Premier League and champions Manchester City in control, the pressure is on for the home side to take all three points and keep their title campaign on track.

However, they responded to the challenge in style, moving just two points off top spot after goals from Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard.

Saka scored a rebound after Alisson saved from Kai Havertz, but the Reds equalized on the eve of the half-time whistle, with Gabriel accidentally hitting his own net after a defensive mix-up.

Another defensive disaster, this time caused by Liverpool at the other end, allowed Martinelli to put Arsenal back in front before Trossard secured the result after shooting through Alisson’s legs in stoppage time.
