Sopranos star says Hollywood is ‘full’ of closeted Trump and RFK Jr voters

Sopranos star Drea De Matteo revealed on national television that Tinseltown is “full of closeted Trump and RFK Jr voters.”

The beloved actress, known for her role as Adriana La Cerva, the longtime girlfriend and fiancĂ©e of Tony Soprano’s student, Christopher Moltisanti, on the hit crime drama, appeared amused during her appearance on the Jesse Waters Primetime show on Fox Monday night. Mediaite reported.

When Watters asked her “if there are any silent Trump voters in Hollywood.”

She responded, “There are a lot of silent Trump supporters, there are a lot of Kennedy supporters.”

The pair spoke about President Biden’s recent Hollywood fundraiser, which raised millions and brought in celebrities including late night host Jimmy Kimmel and actor Jack Black.

During the show, Watters showed a clip of Robert DeNiro, who was open about his criticism of Trump and support for Biden, outside of his hush money trial last month.

DeMatteo hit back and shared how “mortified” she was by her people, specifically “Italian men,” referring to DeNiro and Dr. Anthony Fauci.

“I don’t understand what we’re doing here,” she said.

Watters seemed to get a kick out of De Matteo’s statements as he occasionally showed clips of De Matteo during a few scenes from her days on the Sopranos.

The actress, who admitted she has never been involved in politics “until now,” wondered whether the actors are getting paid to support Biden.

“I’m curious because that seems – I’m wondering if De Niro got a location allowance because he had to travel to the courtroom,” she said.

DeMatteo, who made a fool of herself by calling herself an “outcast,” said she doesn’t really know much about celebrities involved in campaigns.

“I don’t really maneuver within that industry. I never have. First of all, Sopranos, we were the outcasts, even though we were critically acclaimed, we were still outcasts,” she said.

“So I’m still an outcast, here I am.”

She joked, “They’re going to take me into the woods and shoot me because I don’t support Biden.”
