Sophie teamed her £1,195 wool-blend dress with matching black and white pearl earrings and a long silver chain necklace, complete with a larger, more striking pearl.
She also wore what appeared to be suede high-heeled boots and a floor-length coat as she dug a space for the tree, then wrapped a scarf around her shoulders for an IT lesson.
When she got caught up in some baking, the royal wore a white apron personalized with her initial and surrounded by flowers.

Among the staff she spent time with during her visit were nurses, health assistants and service managers.
The royals have close personal ties to Frimley Health, the NHS Hospital Trust, which Heatherwood runs.
Sophie gave birth to her two children, Lady Louise Windsor, 19, and James, Viscount Severn, 15, at Frimley Park Hospital, which is also part of the healthcare group.
Heatherwood is also just a short drive from her family’s Bagshot Park residence, a mansion rumored to have up to 120 rooms and an estimated value of £30 million, located on Bagshot Heath near Windsor.
Last year marked one hundred years since the founding of Heatherwood Hospital, and the Countess helped cement another milestone in its history today.
