Sophie Turner turned heads in a dazzling green mini dress as she stepped out with a friend in New York City on Sunday.

The actress, 27, looked nothing short of sensational in the eye-catching number which she paired with a pair of black flat pumps.

The Game Of Thrones star lugged her belongings around in a stylish black shoulder bag and placed dark sunglasses on her head.

She let go of her long blonde locks and applied a simple yet radiant makeup palette for the outing.

It comes as Sophie’s husband Joe Jonas, 33, is about to perform a second sold-out night with his band The Jonas Brothers at Yankee Stadium.

Joe and his brothers Kevin, 35, and Nick, 30, kicked off their tour in the Bronx this weekend with two sold-out shows.

The Jonas Brothers have added 50 tour dates to their upcoming summer shows – with the siblings making stops at venues across North America, Australia and Europe.

The hitmakers have added 26 new North American concerts, along with a host of other dates, which will see the band play in Australia for the first time.

The first new show will take place in Atlanta on October 1, before the group moves on to North America and Canada.

In February they perform in Auckland, New Zealand before heading to Australia for dates in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

The band will then head to Europe in May before wrapping up shows in Belfast, Northern Ireland on June 20.

Their touring production now counts 90 shows in 20 countries and is the biggest tour the band has ever done.

Sophie’s appearance comes after transforming into a glamorous 1980s jewel thief while shooting scenes for her upcoming ITV drama Joan on Saturday.

The HBO star was barely recognizable as she rocked bold ’80s hair and makeup to shoot scenes in Birmingham, which doubled as central London.

Sophie was dressed in a vintage brown fur coat over a red two piece suit for her starring role as notorious British jewel thief Joan Hannington.

The peplum style top was paired with a matching pencil skirt and patent black heels.

While she was previously seen on set with short blonde locks, for these new scenes the actress wore a brown wig styled in a voluminous classic ’80s style.

She completed the look with an oversized pair of pear earrings and lashings of blush on her cheeks.

She was later spotted in a navy blue ensemble under the fur coat while shooting scenes next to a vintage London bus.

In November, it was announced that Sophie will star as Joan – one of the most notorious figures in London’s criminal underworld.

In a statement at the time, Sophie said she is “so excited” to bring the “fascinating” story of Joan – known as “The Godmother – to life.”

“I’m so excited to bring Joan Hannington’s fascinating life story to the screen in Joan,” Sophie said.

She is one of the most notorious figures in London’s criminal underworld, earning her the nickname ‘The Godmother’.

“A woman who alternates her thriving and daring career as a jewel thief, while trying to get her daughter back from social services, we see a mother who is desperately dragged into the exciting world of crime,” she added.

Joan, who was married to professional thief Boisie Hannington, was introduced to a life of crime and the pair became Britain’s most successful diamond thieves.

Millions of pounds passed through their hands and the new series has been described as a ‘rags-to-riches rollercoaster’.

Anna Symon is the screenwriter for the project and worked closely with Joan while working on the scripts.

While no release date has been set yet, it is inspired by Joan’s memoir, I am What I am: The True Story of Britain’s Most Notorious Jewel Thief.

A synopsis of the new show reads: ‘We are first introduced to Joan in her twenties, a fiery, uncompromising and intoxicating character, who is not without her own deep scars and vulnerability, as a loving and loving young mother of four – year-old Debbie.

She’s in a disastrous marriage to an abusive felon, and when he goes on the run, Joan seizes the moment to leave her old life behind.

“Inspired by her desire to care for Debbie and create a safe home for her daughter, Joan makes some heartbreaking decisions as she sets her sights on a better life.”

In an Amazon blurb for her book, Joan is described as a “true survivor.”

Joan married professional bad boy Boisie Hannington and embarked on a journey to become one of Britain’s most successful diamond thieves.

‘Literally millions of pounds passed through their hands and Joan and Boisie became members of the criminal elite, but soon disaster would strike at the heart of their lavish lifestyle.

“By turns funny, shocking and violent, this is a remarkably raw debut from a true survivor.”
