Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have failed to reach a divorce settlement.
The musician, 34, filed for divorce from the Game of Thrones star, 28, in September 2023 and their custody battle over daughters Willa, three, and Delphine, 17 months, made headlines worldwide.
The actress has asked to ‘reactivate’ their divorce proceedings, which were put on hold when the couple went to mediation to try to work out a property and child custody arrangement. TMZ.
But after the two failed to reach an agreement, Sophie is now asking the judge to end the marriage and determine who will get custody of their daughters through a court-ordered settlement.
The couple went to mediation in part to keep their marital problems private, but that will now change as their files – which outline their disputes – will become public.

Joe and Sophie had major differences over where the children would live full-time.
While the actress wanted to take them to her native Britain, Joe wanted to keep them in the United States.
The couple had a prenup, so ownership is most likely not an issue, but it appears they cannot agree on custody.
At one point, things got so bad that Sophie filed a child abduction claim against Joe, even though she asked the judge to dismiss it in January.
At the time, she claimed her ex-musician had broken international law by refusing to allow the children to travel to be with her.
In October, Joe and Sophie reached a temporary custody arrangement after the Game Of Thrones actress sued him over his attempts to prevent her from taking their children from the US on an allegedly pre-planned trip to Britain.
DailyMail.com previously obtained court documents showing that the custody arrangement gives each parent two weeks at a time with their daughters until January 2024 and allows the girls to travel back and forth between the US and Britain.
They can also travel anywhere in the US and Britain, meaning Turner can take the girls to England, which she claims will be their “forever home.”

While Jonas got to take the girls on tour with his band The Jonas Brothers, Turner was able to spend Christmas with her family with them in Britain.
The agreement was reached after four days of intensive mediation in New York, where the girls stayed with Turner in early October.
The child custody resolution was expected to pave the way for the couple’s divorce to be finalized.
The court filing from Turner’s attorney Stephen Cullen called the mediation “ongoing and productive” and that the custody division comes “pending an amicable resolution of all issues.”
Jonas filed for divorce in Miami on September 1, with sources close to him claiming Turner was partying too much, leaving him alone to care for their daughters.
Turner recently let the kids stay with her through Jan. 7, but Jonas was spotted in London in December just days before Christmas, prompting speculation that he might have had a chance to celebrate the holiday with the girls, either with Turner, either separately.
The two stars have kept a relatively low profile since their temporary custody settlement was reached late last year.
