The show focuses on the life of jewel thief Joan Hannington and will be based on her memoirs.

The interpreter continued to talk about the historical figure that she would play in the series.

She described Hannington as “a woman torn between her audacious and prosperous career as a jewel thief, as she attempts to win back her daughter from social services, we see a desperate mother drawn into the exciting world of crime.”

Joan’s release date has yet to be revealed to the public.

Turner previously spoke about how becoming a mother had improved her acting skills during an appearance on the UnWrapped podcast, where she expressed that she could be more open with her emotions.

She stated that motherhood ‘made me a better actress… empathy increases; feelings about family are overflowing.’
