Sophie Guidolin tries to hock her very pricey designer accessory on Instagram

Would you pay $700 for a scarf? Fitness influencer Sophie Guidolin tries to smuggle second-hand designer accessories on Instagram

Roxy Jacenko raised eyebrows this week after she tried to resell a Louis Vuitton jump rope for $500.

And it seems that fitness influencer Sophie Guidolin took inspiration from the publicity queen’s frugal venture by posting her own second-hand designer accessory online.

On Wednesday Instagram sleuth account Dutch Mint revealed that Sophie, 34, tried to snag a Gucci scarf for the discounted price of $700 through a fashion retailer’s Instagram page.

An image posted by the website appears to show Sophie modeling the scarf in her living room, with her head cut out of the photo.

The reversible scarf has a striking monogram print and fringed edges.

Oddly enough, Sophie’s post claimed the scarf’s original price was $980, but the official Gucci website seems to list the same item costing $905.

Sophie is no stranger to splurging on her second-hand designer splurges, often selling her unwanted clothes through an online platform called Markitt.

Some of the items currently on the list are designed by brands she has previously promoted on Instagram, including Cleo and Harper Activewear.

It comes after Roxy Jacenko announced on Instagram that she was reselling her Louis Vuitton jump rope for a hefty $500.

The jump rope features monogrammed handles and costs about $1,070 on the Louis Vuitton website.

One of Roxy’s followers was shocked that she paid the eye-popping amount for the design good.

“You paid over $650 for a damn jump rope,” they wrote under the post.
