Now, almost six months later, she has spoken out about her devastating loss.
The fitness influencer, 34, gave birth to her fifth child – a daughter she named Pixie – and has now said the stillbirth “changed her whole world forever.”
“The first few months were horrible and beyond hard,” she said 9Honey.
“I lay in a dark room just going through the motions. I cried myself to sleep. Cried while awake.’

The Gold Coast mum also revealed some of the most upsetting things people would say to her in the months following her loss.
‘People said to me, ‘Be glad you have four more children.’ And that I wasn’t “grieving properly,” she added.
Sophie, who has four children from a previous relationship, struggled with serious health problems during her fifth pregnancy.

In January, she told fans she had been diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness.
While recovering from the condition in hospital, Sophie shared a post lamenting how lonely she felt without her then-husband, Dr Andrew Firgaira, by her side.
When asked by fans where her husband was, Sophie claimed he was abroad on a European holiday.

On January 8, Sophie shared a photo of herself in hospital on a drip after experiencing severe nausea and vomiting
While Andrew was in Europe at the time, he has not verified Sophie’s claim that the trip was a vacation, and it is possible he was there on business.
He was accompanied on the trip by his two daughters from a previous relationship.
Sophie announced at the end of January that her fifth child, a girl named Pixie, had been stillborn.
“I can’t put my pain, sadness and despair into words with all my soul,” she wrote in an emotional Instagram post, revealing she’d had a C-section.
When asked by fans where her husband was, Sophie claimed he was abroad in Europe
“I try to trust in God’s timing and I’ve always believed that the universe has my back and as confusing as this all feels, I’m trying to understand this sadness with my faith.
“I feel so guilty for my thoughts beforehand and I would do anything to feel that pain, over this harrowing experience. I don’t even have the words to write or understand this. Maybe some souls were always meant to be angels.’
Sophie announced her pregnancy in mid-December, just a month after marrying her Andrew.
Andrew, a high-profile Gold Coast dentist, confirmed in March that the couple had split, following weeks of rumors that they had quietly ended their marriage just four months into their dream wedding.
But Sophie claimed that – contrary to rumors circulating online – she was the one who “left” her husband, not the other way around.
