The beaming mother-of-two, 50, took to Instagram on Saturday to announce her engagement to loving boyfriend Steve Wood.
Sophie’s joy was palpable as she shared a series of heartwarming photos from the moment Steve popped the question during a dreamy holiday in the Whitsunday Islands, Australia.
In one dazzling photo, Sophie proudly showed off her sparkling diamond engagement ring.
‘It is official. Thank you for making me the happiest woman I have ever been. Your kindness, strength, thoughtfulness, integrity and love blow me away,” she captioned the post.

In a candid conversation with New Idea earlier this year, she openly declared her love, exclaiming, “Yes, I am in love.”
She praised her husband-to-be, adding: “He’s probably one of the nicest men I’ve ever met, and I feel very lucky. It’s relaxing and he’s great with my kids.
‘He’s a solid, good man and he’s got a lot of character. I’m in a great place in my life now and I’m very grateful for it.”
