Influencer Sophie Cachia says she has been humiliated after her recent divorce from fiancé Madeleine Garrick.
The former Australian Survivor star, 32, took to Instagram to open up about her heartbreak and that she is “dead sick” of people comforting her as she broke off her engagement to the basketball player, 30.
“Many lessons, but most importantly how blessed I am to have such a supportive, close family and friends support system,” she wrote in an emotional Instagram story.

“I’m at a point in my life where I’m DEAD SICK of people who need to be there for me. “We’re here for you” they say, and I’m angry. Not because they want to help me, but for another reason I need them.’
She continued: ‘It’s humiliating. It’s humiliating. I didn’t ask for this. I don’t want to be here. 2 weeks ago I traveled the world, happiest I’ve felt in so many years in my life. I wasn’t aware.’
‘I just want happiness and a satisfied life. I want a life full of love and family. I don’t want to be afraid of love and devotion.
“I never want to believe in anyone or have trust issues again. I don’t want to be terrified of ever letting anyone come near my kids again. I want happiness.’
Sophie announced the shock that she had broken off her engagement on Sunday night.
Despite not disclosing the reason for the split, Cachia hinted at a breach of trust and said she made the decision to set the “good example” for her two children.

The split comes just a month after the pair began a long-distance relationship when Garrick moved to Florence, Italy, to work for a local women’s basketball team.
“It is with sadness and great pain that I have unfortunately made the decision to end my relationship,” Cachia wrote on Instagram Stories.
“When I proposed to her, I did it with the guarantee of loyalty, trust, honesty and respect on my part.
“Despite the great amount of love I still cherish, I made this decision to lead by example for what I know I deserve in life for myself and for my children – because we are all worth it.”
She added: “While I’m in pain, life has to go on. I still have to show up for work with my companies and most importantly, be a mother and role model to my two children.”

She closed by saying that she didn’t expect the relationship to end so quickly.
“Unfortunately, this is a position I really didn’t want to be in. Therefore, I beg you, please, please protect my children and my sanity and enable us to heal and move forward,” she wrote.
“I won’t comment further.”
Despite not disclosing the reason for the split, Cachia hinted at a breach of trust and said she made the decision for herself and her children, daughter Florence, five, and son Bobby, eight.
It comes just a month after WNBL star Garrick moved to Italy for work after signing with local basketball club Polisportiva A.Galli Basket, leaving Cachia in Melbourne with her two children, daughter Florence, five, and son Bobby, eight.
Prior to Garrick’s departure, Cachia shared a heartfelt Instagram post stating that their new long-distance novel was a blow of fate and destined to thrive.
Cachia proposed to Garrick over Mardi Gras weekend in February and presented her with a huge ring set with three diamonds.

The nightwear designer was previously married to retired AFL star Jaryd Cachia, ending up before dating women.
“I had a beautiful man in my life, and I still do. He’s an incredible father and an incredible friend to me, but why can’t women search more?’ she told the No Filter podcast in 2020.
“That married life that I realized wasn’t what I wanted. And it wasn’t that I realized, ‘Oh, I love women now, I’m going to leave my marriage.’ it wasn’t; I realized I wanted more.’
