To write The sunSophie revealed that she first met Kate when she was 18 years old in 1995, and was completely in awe of the model.

Kate has been in the public eye since she was 14, but despite a career spanning nearly 40 years, the public rarely hears the star speak.
Sophie and Kate previously worked together for the Earls Court Motor Show in 1999 alongside Jodie Kidd.
Recalling her experiences with the model, Sophie described Kate as reserved and cautious, who chose not to use her voice because she knew it wasn’t her job.
Armed with beauty, height and a strong work ethic, Sophie explained: ‘She always had the whole package, which is why clients and photographers all fell head over heels in love with her.’
Kate rose to fame in the 1990s, before the era of influencers and social media models that are constantly entering the market today.
Sophie found success even before then, revealing that even though Kate didn’t show off her personality to the public, she still had plenty.
Instead of following trends and fads, Kate changed them from her lemon drop Topshop dress to her 2001 pixie haircut.
Sophie noted that Kate has always remained true to who she is, and now embodies a mature confidence as she approaches her 50th year.

Kate has left the rough North London scene of her twenties and thirties behind her and is now based in a honey-coloured Grade II listed mansion in the Cotswolds, and appears to be leaving the party world behind.
In November last year, the star was criticized for not turning up at her own launch party to celebrate the launch of the new ANINE BING Kate Tote in London.
The supermodel was a surprise no-show at the cocktail party with designer Annie Bing, an event attended by celebrity guests including Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Cat Deeley.
Kate should have been the star of the party when she marked her collaboration with the American designer who flew in Los Angeles for the event.
Speak with The sunsays a source: ‘Annie and her team pulled out all the stops for a mega party to celebrate their partnership.
‘But not long after the party started, they were told that Kate couldn’t come because she wasn’t well.
“A lot of people joked about her drawing a sick person, but it wasn’t funny to all those people who had gone to all that trouble.”
