Sophia Bush celebrates her 42nd birthday by sharing a post where she is seen cuddling her girlfriend Ashlyn Harris, 38

Sophia Bush gave her fans a glimpse into her life via Instagram on Sunday night the day before she turned 42.

Her photo collection also included amorous photos of the actress and her 38-year-old girlfriend Ashlyn Harris.

The two were joined by a large group of girlfriends in a photo that shows the retired footballer putting his arm around the former One Tree Hill player.

Sophia had a big grin on her face as she dressed stylishly in a royal blue T-shirt tucked into white Bermuda shorts.

In a caption to her 4.6 million followers, she wrote: ‘‍ what summer ‍.’

Also included in the selection of images was one of Bush wearing a white crochet co-ord as she walked and held hands with Harris

There was also a photo of Bush, dressed in a white crochet co-ord, walking hand in hand with Harris.

The athlete, in turn, wore light yellow, two-piece shorts.

Sophia also shared footage of her recent date with her friend at the Woolf Works premiere in New York.

For the occasion, she turned heads in a monochrome red outfit.

Ashlyn looked stylish in a blue pantsuit which she paired with white accents.

The women made their red carpet debut in April at the star-studded White House Correspondents Dinner, hosted by Colin Jost.

Shortly before that, Sophia had announced their relationship in an essay in Glamour magazine, in which she also came out as “gay.”

When rumors of a romance between her and Ashlyn surfaced, Sophia was accused of being a “homewrecker.”

She wrote that she and Ashlyn first met in 2019, but didn’t become a couple until October 2023 after their marriages ended.

Sophia filed for divorce from her husband of 13 months, Grant Hughes, in August 2023, while Ashlyn filed for divorce from her wife, Ali Krieger, in September of the same year.

In her coming out essay, Sophia, who was previously married to her One Tree Hill co-star Chad Michael Murray, revealed that her past male suitors knew she was attracted to women too.

In June, the actress celebrated her first pride month since coming out and shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram.

She posted a quote on her Stories that read, “You are perfect. No matter how long it takes, you will find your people. And they will help you find more and more of yourself. It’s worth it. You are worth it.”

Sophia’s latest Instagram post has so far received over 153,000 likes from her adoring fans.

And a few days earlier, on July 4, she debuted a new, red-toned hair color when she shared a trio of radiant selfies.
