The latest: Sophia Bush’s romance with Ashlyn Harris continues to blossom, as the 41-year-old actress and 38-year-old soccer player “love being together” and “love sports and want to do good in the world,” an insider told US Weekly Thursday
The second source said the romance between Bush — who also appeared on Chicago PD, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and This Is Us — and Harris only began after their marriages to their former spouses were over.
Bush and Harris “bonded after breaking up and having to start over,” the source said. “Sophia and Ashlyn insist they were just friends, but it was instant chemistry in every way.”
Bush filed for divorce from Hughes in August after 14 months of marriage, referencing the drastic life change in an Instagram post at the time.
“Sometimes you have to remind yourself that you are something special,” Bush said. ‘That you cannot be replaced. Your heart, your mind, your conversation, your care, it cannot be replaced. By anyone.”
Harris, a native of Cocoa Beach, Florida, filed for divorce from Krieger in September, more than three years after they married in Miami at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in December 2019.
The footballers are parents to daughter Sloane, two, and son Ocean, 14 months.
Both Hughes and Krieger have issued statements following their aforementioned divorces.
Hughes’ rep told me Page six last week: ‘Grant will always want the best for Sophia, and supports whatever makes her happy and fulfilled.’

Krieger alluded to Beyoncé’s famous 2016 album Lemonade — which contains allusions to being cheated on — last week in a post ahead of her NWSL football playoffs
“Preparing for the playoffs in my Beyoncé lemonade era,” she said.
Harris announced her retirement from the sport in November 2022, while Krieger, currently with Gotham FC, will retire at the end of this year’s play-offs.
Both Harris, a goalkeeper, and Krieger, a defender, are two-time World Cup winners, in 2015 and 2019.
