The Channel Seven star, 59, who recently faced doubt and rumors over her future at the network, says she will be leading in 2025 with love.
And as the fireworks shoot into the sky at midnight to revolve around the sun again, the host of The Voice will curl up in bed, reported The Daily Telegraph.
‘I watch the kids’ fireworks at 9pm and then go to bed – heaven!’ the TV host told the publication.
She added: ‘My New Year’s resolution is to leave things better than I found them.’
Sonia shares one child, a daughter named Maggie, with her partner Craig McPherson.

The couple welcomed their only child in 2015 via in vitro fertilization (IVF) with a donor egg.
Sonia’s decision comes after she was forced to hit back at claims her future at Channel Seven is in doubt.
She was hit with rumors in October that her future at the network could be up in the air following a series of major changes at the channel.
The claims followed reports that Sonia would no longer host Big Brother Australia, with Mel Trancia set to take on the role when the reality show moves to Network 10 in 2025.
However, both Channel Seven and Sonia have since responded to the rumours, describing them as ‘completely wrong’ and insisting she is ‘happy’ at the network.
Despite the television favorite once being one of Seven’s most in-demand stars, rumors swirled that this may no longer be the case following changes at the network.
However, Seven’s spokesperson dismissed it Daily Telegraphclaims that these developments had caused the star to fall out of favor with the network.
‘You make things up. This is total fiction and completely wrong. Publishing this rumor would be deliberately misleading,” the spokesperson said.

Despite this, the publication claimed that a ‘highly placed source’ at Seven said Sonia was ‘vulnerable’, citing her reported $1.3 million contract.
“Now that Big Brother is gone, she will probably do less,” the unnamed source told the outlet.
Sonia’s reps also poured more water on the rumors, telling the publication that Sonia is “happy” at the network.
“Sonia has a long-term contract with Seven, has not taken a pay cut and is very happy at the network,” they stressed.
The claims followed unconfirmed reports that Sonia had re-signed with Seven and would announce her new gig at 2025 network Upfronts in the coming months.
Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, a source teased that her new role at the channel will involve reporting and “location work.”
“Sonia is at her best when she can ad-lib,” they said.
“Giving her a microphone and getting real people to open up is a real skill that she can do effortlessly, so I think it’s a shame not to get her out there again in that kind of capacity. I think Sonia wants more, and rightly so.’
A second insider told the publication that Sonia’s new job at Seven would be “meatier” than her current hosting roles on The Voice and Dancing with the Stars.
Sonia joined Seven in 2020 on a three-year contract and a source indicated that her new role will give the much-loved star the chance to show off her journalistic skills.
They even suggested that Seven could use Sonia to revive a current affairs format like Today Tonight, a one-off rival to Nine’s A Current Affair, which ran on Seven between 1995 and 2019.
