A teenager and his friends shocked their classmates by arriving at their school prom in body bags.
Lucas Jameson, 16, from Oswaldtwistle in Lancashire, made a grand entrance at his Year 11 graduation party, dressed in a £600 suit and wrapped in a black body bag, along with two of his friends.
The idea came about after a family friend suggested it to Lucas, and soon his stepfather Dean Jameson jumped into action to make the stunt a reality. He got his friends involved in the pranks by telling them they couldn’t go with him unless they joined in.
A video on Facebook shows the three teenagers in black body bags being pulled from the back of a blue van, then being laid on the ground and unzipped by men wearing balaclavas.
Lucas’ mother Laura Jameson, 38, was all for the stunt, despite fearing horrified bystanders would call the police. She said: “If anyone had been watching me I probably would have called the police because I had ordered three body bags and balaclavas.

‘I was excited, I thought it was a brilliant idea. It’s always really good to be original and come up with something different.
“It’s better than a traditional luxury car, I’ve never seen this before.”
The resourceful boy also dressed up as the Duke of Edinburgh, which may explain the high price of the suit.
Laura, a mother of four who works as an autism assessor and support worker, adds: ‘He was doing his Duke of Edinburgh course at the same time, so I’d ordered him a pocket knife and everything, so it probably seemed like I was up to something.’
The boys were whisked away to their big day on July 6 at Foxfields Country Hotel in Billington, Lancashire.
The grand finale required extensive planning, as well as a number of props including balaclavas and body bags, which Laura said she purchased through Amazon.
For those who thought Lucas’ entrance was spectacular enough, it was nothing compared to his original plan, which was to be thrown from a moving helicopter.
The total cost of the body bag stunt was around £60. As this was much cheaper than hiring a helicopter, Lucas decided to spend the money he saved on a £600 suit to wear that night.

Lucas and his family were all for the bizarre entrance, but his friends had to be convinced to join in. Lucas claimed he told them they had to join in or they wouldn’t be able to go to the prom with him.
Laura secretly informed one of the teachers about the plan so that the school had cameras ready.
Laura was very happy with her performance, and other school children also said it was the ‘best’ entrance they had ever seen.
She continued: ‘Everyone said it was the best entrance they had ever seen, all the teachers thought it was absolutely original.
“I think they’ll always remember that and I think everyone will. They’ll think about that for years to come.
‘Compared to theirs, the best example was a girl riding a tractor and someone riding a horse.’
