The truck overturned yesterday on Highway 400 near the town of Aurora, Ontario, leaving a green carpet and prompting police to close three lanes due to the bizarre spill.
The truck remained on its side, while the salad was spread across the roadway.
Fortunately, the driver was uninjured and no other motorists were injured after the accident.
Traffic was diverted to nearby Highway 9 as cleanup crews worked to remove the celery from the asphalt.

Last August, a Tennessee highway was drenched in Alfredo sauce after a truck carrying hundreds of jars of the seasoning crashed into a median.
Memphis police confirmed that a tractor-trailer struck a median on I-55, spilling the vehicle’s contents and covering all three lanes on the northbound side of the highway.
The woman driving the truck suffered minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
Video of the aftermath showed the road covered in the sauce as a cleanup crew worked to remove the pots and pallets from the highway, while a tow truck attempted to remove the destroyed trailer.

According to reports, an initial collision resulted in the truck landing on the highway’s central divider, scattering its contents over a 60-meter stretch.
