In episode 5, titled ‘Tick Tock’, Colin (Luke Newton) proposes to Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) after a steamy love scene.
As he slips it onto her finger, Penelope remarks how beautiful it is. “And yet only half as beautiful as you,” he replies.
The elegant ring consisted of six pearl balls in the shape of a flower, with a yellow diamond in the middle.
Jeremy Hinds, jewellery expert at F Hinds, creator of the brainteaser, explains: ‘Pearls are the ultimate in Regencycore jewellery, adding a timeless elegance to any outfit.
