Manchester United goalkeeper Sofyan Amrabat has been ruled out of Fiorentina’s 24-man squad for tomorrow’s Europa Conference League first leg.
Last year’s finalists travel to Rapid Vienna without the Morocco international, even though he sat on the bench in their Serie A opener against Genoa on Saturday.
The club has reportedly given the midfielder a deadline to decide if he wants to leave with multiple clubs interested, Corriere dello Sport reports via Football Italy.
United made the 27-year-old their main target earlier this month and could pay around £30 million after they found Everton’s Amadou Onana too expensive.
Amrabat has previously cast doubt on a departure from the Stadio Artemio Franchi by admitting that he “doesn’t know if he is leaving.”

His exclusion from I violaThe European tour team naturally raises eyebrows.
It’s been rumored he could be rested, but most of the other first-team players are involved – besides Amrabat’s Moroccan compatriot Abdelhamid Sabiri – and a Sunday clash with relegation fighters Lecce seems like a meek justification for a break.
Liverpool are reportedly fond of Amrabat and could hijack the Red Devils’ pursuit of him.
He rose to prominence during the World Cup in Qatar and anchored Morocco’s midfield as they bravely progressed to the semi-finals.
A heroic challenge against Kylian Mbappe in the semi-finals was a sign of his guts, even though Morocco lost that match 2-0 to the 2018 world champions.
Earlier this month, ex-United man Louis Saha spoke of his admiration for the midfielder with a rising rate.
He told Betfred: ‘Amrabat is a player I really like and he has a great level of intensity that I don’t think has been matched. It would be exciting to see him at Manchester United and he would improve the team’s overall balance.”
