About seven weeks after major knee surgery, Sofia Vergara headed to a lunch date with a friend in West Hollywood.
The actress and television personality, 51, showed she has made great strides in her recovery after surgery on her right knee.
With her health in mind, the Modern Family alum decided to wear a pair of white chunky-soled sneakers with her casual ensemble, which consisted of baggy denim cargo pants and a red blouse with a long tie.
For the outing, she styled her light brown locks long, straight and flowing over her shoulders and down to her mid-back with a center parting.
She wore cool dark sunglasses and a black bag over her left shoulder.

Located at the corner of Melrose Avenue and Robertson Boulevard, Vergara seemed to be in a good mood when she met her friend at Cecconi’s restaurant.
The establishment is known for its modern classic Italian dishes, such as handmade pasta and seafood.
Standing outside the restaurant, her friend looked stylish in off-white trousers with a matching turtleneck top with black stripes, brown flats and her blonde locks down her shoulders and feathered down the back with a center parting.
Vergara also took to her Instagram page, where she shared a few photos from their lunch date, which revealed a third party sitting at their table.
It turns out she took the newest four-legged member of her family, her new Chihuahua Amore, out to dinner in a tote bag.
The first photo showed the two ladies posing for the camera in a selfie that showed Amore sitting among the women while inside the tote bag, which was now open.
In a second photo, the dog sat above the table with two large strawberry dessert dishes on the table just inches away.
“Happy Memorial Day weekend to everyone!!” she wrote in the caption of the dog post.

Vergara introduced her new dog on Instagram in early April, and then the pair shared the spotlight as they posed together for her cover photo for People’s Beautiful Issue.
She had to fill a void after her ex-husband Joe Manganiello won custody of their Chihuahua Bubbles following their separation last summer and eventual divorce that was finalized in February.
The True Blood alum said his ex-wife was gracious about him keeping Bubbles after their breakup,” a source close to the actor told Ny Breaking in August 2023.
The black and white puppy has already impressed fans, as well as Vergara’s son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, who sat with the cutie in a video he shared to his Instagram on April 9.
As a cool touch, he added a snippet of Bobby Solo’s classic tune That’s Amore to the clip showing the pup on his lap.
Manolo’s Chihuahua Baguette, who the actress has cared for over the years, already has a bond with Amore, which has been documented on social media.
Vergara and Manganiello were about a year and a half old when they married in November 2015 in Palm Beach, Florida.
They were married for seven years before deciding to go their separate ways and divorce.
She previously thanked her ‘handsome’ doctor friend Dr. Justin Saliman for helping her during her recovery.

“If you ever have major knee surgery, make sure you get a hot doctor to sleep with you that night!!!!” the America’s Got Talent judge wrote in an Instagram story with a photo of her boyfriend standing next to her bed.
“Luv u Dr @jdsaliman,” she said, completing the post with a red heart.
The photo showed the Modern Family star’s knee wrapped in a bandage between a splint on the bed, and the good doctor, who was wearing navy blue scrubs, smiling down at her with his hand on her leg.
It’s unclear how the Griselda star hurt her knee or whether the orthopedic surgeon is the one who performed the secret procedure.
