It seems like she wanted a second child at some point in her life. In 2016, she told The Edit Magazine that kids were possible with Joe.
“I wouldn’t mind another child,” she said. “He wants children.”
She also noted that she and Joe were trying to sort out what to do. The idea of doing it all over again doesn’t scare me. But hey, it’s not like it’s going to happen by itself, is it?’
And she also talked about her age.
“In my mother’s era, 40 was considered old, but now I don’t think it is,” she said when she was 43.
And maybe she wanted kids before she met Joe, when she was with her former fiancé Nick Loeb.
That’s why she’s frozen embryos from her IVF treatments in 2013.
The two have engaged in a massive lawsuit over ownership of the embryos. A judge ruled in her favor in March 2021.

Manganiello officially filed for divorce from Vergara this week citing “irreconcilable differences.”
The former couple is said to have a prenuptial agreement stating that they keep the assets they built up during their union.
According to TMZ, Joe’s attorney Laura Wasser filed the divorce papers on Wednesday, with the divorce date set for July 2, 2023.
Sources told the website that Sofia will not contest it, and that the ‘Magic Mike’ star and the ‘America’s Got Talent’ judge will pay their own legal fees.
In addition, the former couple would have had different opinions about having children.
Sofia and Joe – who married in November 2015 in a lavish, star-studded Palm Beach ceremony in front of 400 guests – confirmed this week that they have made the “difficult” decision to part ways.

They said in a statement: “We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people who love and care for each other very much, we politely ask that our privacy be respected at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
Sofia is currently celebrating her 51st birthday in Italy with friends.
The pair met Jesse Tyler Ferguson, the actress’s former co-star, at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner in 2014 when she was engaged to businessman Nick Loeb.
Manganiello requested the actress’s number a few weeks later when she broke up with Loeb.
