SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles ‘is set to be awarded the 2027 Super Bowl by NFL owners’… less than two years after last hosting the iconic game
SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles is expected to be the venue for the 2027 Super Bowl.
The $5.5 billion arena in Inglewood – which only opened in 2020 – last hosted the Super Bowl in 2022, when the Los Angeles Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals at home.
NFL owners will vote on the issue at a league meeting in Dallas on Wednesday.
It means that the stadium will host a major sporting event every year from 2026 to 2028.
SoFi Stadium will be one of 16 North American cities hosting matches during the 2026 World Cup.
It will also host the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2028 Summer Olympics and Paralympics. It will also host football matches.
